One of the most well-known things to do is to come and drink wine! Monterey has amazing wine, and Carmel offers a Wine Walk Passport that allows you to visit the local tasting rooms and try flights of your favorites. Their pasta dishes are indescribable, and trust me when I say they’re worth the price! What to do Enjoy watching the sun set over the water as you enjoy a nice meal with exceptional service.įor a true Carmel staple, you have to visit Casanova. And every bite is incredible.įor a romantic dinner, I recommend checking out The Beach House Restaurant. Their menu is filled with everything from cheese blintzes to huevos rancheros. This gnocchi is what dreams are made of.įor a delicious breakfast you have to stop by Katy’s Place. Vesuvio is a delicious Italian restaurant with rooftop dining and a killer happy hour. Josh and I loved picking up fresh parfaits to eat for breakfast on the beach. The Carmel Bakery is great for a sweet treat and fresh coffee. What a (literally!) sweet touch!ĥth Avenue Deli is great for picking up food to eat and enjoy on the beach. I wish all delis had as much wine and cheese as this one does! Also, all meals end with a little piece of baklava. The food is filled with flavor and the service is excellent. When you visit Carmel, come prepared to eat!ĭametra Cafe is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. Seriously, I did not have a bad meal here.
